ABANDONED NYC SUBWAYS I couldn’t go to sleep so I googled abandoned NYC subway stations and found a lot of cool stuff. This is a picture of the old City Hall station that was abandoned in December of 1945. It still exists and they open it up to the public every so often. Imagine going to work and waiting in a station that looked like this. Ahhh, old NY…FYI-the 6 train still uses it to make a loop and turn the downtown train around to head back uptown.
